Introducing Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, starring Koko Hekmatyar.
I'm at a bit of a loss as to what to write about in this episode since there wasn't anything that really stood out or made an impression on me, so I'm going to do a very quick review by stringing together a few of my thoughts and hoping for an okay outcome.
Not much happened in the episode, which is to be expected at this point in the anime for Jormungand seeing as the manga was just as episodic and showed Koko to be a mysterious person just as many times; this time the referencing of dragons was just as enjoyable as the rest and made for a funny scene at the end where Koko made Jonah do a dragon call. I think this time Koko displayed some basic political knowledge; even if the bounty is fixed, a war criminal is worth more alive than dead.
Otherwise, the rest of the episode was a return to comedy with numerous opportunities for Koko to bring humour into serious situations - asking ever so nicely to borrow a 122m - even going so far as to bring back my favourite dunce Scarecrow.
Overall the episode was good but at this point I don't have much to say so that'll be it until next episode; it honestly felt like I was watching this episode purely for the soundtrack. For all you Valmet fans, the next episode is all about her.
