Yondemasu yo Azazel-san comes back after a 2 year break with a plot? That's.....new.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the series, Yondemasu yo Azazel-san is one of the cheapest and least clever comedies of our time.  The series is 100% toilet humour, and if you're fine with that then you'll be more than happy to find out it's hilarious.  Now, it apparently has a plot to explore.

Starting off exactly where it left off, the series starts off with the Moloch-san OP, followed by the beginning of what appears to be an arc.  We're briefly introduced to a new human and demon character, as well as informed the late Mossan has become something of a pop culture icon.  Straight after, the comedy is curbed as Azazel and Beelzebub continue their quest to destroy their owner - the guy who literally made these two his bitches - Akutabe.  As such the laughs were kept to a minimum and we instead got a possible hint at a more continuous story.  We get a little bit back when Azazel and Beelzebub return to the human realm with the newest generation of Moloch, and as the ending brings back the most fearsome man ever.

Truth be told, I'm not convinced Yondemasu yo Azazel-san Z is off to the best of starts.  It's as if we're being eased back into the story very slowly or the series decided to get less trashy, which worries because I like the series just the way it is.  There's an restrained feeling behind the second seasons start - walking on eggshells - that I'd like to see go away as soon as possible, giving back the feeling of unrestrained nonsense which I think the series does very well.

Still, this was only the first episode.  A first episode that's only 10-minutes long, meaning it has even less to go on.    There's still plenty of opportunity for Yondemasu yo Azazel-san Z to come out of its shell and be as disgustingly amusing as it can be.

Final Note: It's doubtful I'll blog this series, given how little I can actually contribute to discussion.
