If I needed a reminder about one of my favourite anime currently airing, this episode of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure was exactly what I needed.

This episode is one of the times where there is nothing to complain about. It was, in short, spectacular. Good pacing, good fighting, plenty of camp catchphrases being thrown around and then of course we have the English-German racism shtick going on between JoJo and Stroheim.

For me this episode was the most fun I remember having whilst watching a fight scene from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. With an episode like this, you can really tell the different atmosphere created by a new main character; Jonathan kept it quite serious but Joseph makes fun of everything. It's because of this that most people (me included) prefer Joseph, since he brings a more juvenile comedy element to the series.

Besides JoJo, Stroheim really came out of his shell this episode. He contributed to quite a few things - comedy, action, useless commentary and sacrifice. Hard to imagine one could accomplish all of that before his death, but he makes it look easy and his presence was much more noticeable in this episode. Of course his exit had to possess a shred of nobility because it's JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, the story of gentlemen throughout the ages.

Also, this is the first time that I've had appreciation for Tomokazu Sugita. Having recently started the Gintama anime, I've grown to love this voice actor and in this case think he's perfect for the role of JoJo the second. Seeing as how he's used to the crazy comedic main characters, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure fits his style almost too well.

Hard to imagine, but I don't have much more to say. Let's enjoy the new arc next episode with what looks like a new character or two.
