Ok seriously this anime keeps getting freakier and freakier. Just when you thought it was going to have a slightly more relaxed atmosphere since Kagari had finally calmed down, the school counsellor emerges as a suspicious and frightening new psychopath.

I must say, having read a few chapters of the manga I can definitely tell that the production company is trying really hard to make this anime more appealing to children by enhancing the amount of humour in the story. (more…)

Since I read a lot of series running in WSJ and reviewing each of them in their entirety would take a long time, I decided that it would be faster to do them all in one go. Unfortunately I can’t review Kuroko no Basket since, it is behind in scanlations but I will be doing so for the following series:

Preview of Spring 2012

Even though we are barely halfway through the winter season, there have been a lot of confirmations of new and exciting anime for the spring season and so I couldn’t help but start the Spring 2012 preview. Bear in mind that the preview is still far from complete; mostly missing preview video’s, start dates and a couple are missing some information but otherwise the preview will be completed with the missing info and videos as we get closer and closer to April when the new season begins. Some of you should bear in mind that 3 series in the spring actually started in the Fall of 2011 (Fate/zero, Phi Brain and Kimi to Boku) so you can check out their info in the fall preview.

Finally I can say that I’ve started to enjoy this series being fully aware that I enjoy it and not being confused as to what feelings I have about it! All thanks to one episode which not only takes a huge step forward in the character development and storyline but makes think that things will only keep getting interesting from now on. (more…)

What the hell – my first thoughts when watching this episode – I haven’t had a reaction like this since I read Clamp’s Gate 7 first volume and when I first saw Mawaru Penguindrum. I’m not sure that the feeling is of being creeped out in a good way or bad, which also worries me a little bit. (more…)
